A brief observation
The weight of a key.
Study 004 · The object that permits return
A key is almost weightless until it belongs to a door you expect to open again.
Before that, it is only metal cut into instruction. Afterwards, it becomes permission, routine and the quiet promise of return. We carry it without looking, yet notice its absence immediately.
Perhaps home begins not with possession, but with repetition: the same hand reaching for the same small object, trusting that a place will receive it.
